So much is going on in your sweet little life.\u00a0 I think you\u2019re experiencing a bit of stress these days.\u00a0 Just as I was putting you to bed, you talked of things at school that have been difficult.\u00a0 You were going to play a new math game with S.\u00a0 You got it right, but she kept on doing it wrong.\u00a0 \u201cIt\u2019s because she was fooling around when the teacher was giving directions.\u201d\u00a0 This really bothered you.\u00a0 \u201cIt was so frustrating.\u201d<\/p>\n
And M. said in a nasty voice, \u201cI\u2019m not going to invite R. to my party, only Maya,\u201d right in front of R.\u00a0 You felt bad for R. and stood up to M.\u00a0 You are dealing with diversity (different abilities- i.e. S) and bullying issues all here in kindergarten.\u00a0 Tough lessons to learn.\u00a0 I am so glad that we can talk about this.<\/p>\n Again, you mentioned how noisy it is there.\u00a0 I suggested you go to the library when it is too noisy for you.\u00a0 You lit up when I told you Elayne [Maya\u2019s kindergarten teacher] said it was okay\u2026\u201dMaya is one of the few kids who could<\/u> do that!\u201d<\/p>\n On the home front, other recent challenges include Adin\u2019s fractured arm.\u00a0 Naturally, he has been getting much attention. \u00a0The very first night, you were doing some \u201ccoughing.\u201d\u00a0 \u201cMommy,\u201d you said, \u201cwhen children are sick, their mommies are supposed to stay home with them.\u00a0 They shouldn\u2019t go to school.\u201d\u00a0 You knew that Adin was taking a day off from school.\u00a0 And you kept on \u201cbreaking your arm.\u201d\u00a0 Of course at one point with all of this, Adin said to you, \u201cyou\u2019re just doing that to get attention.\u201d\u00a0 You admitted adamantly, \u201cTHAT\u2019S RIGHT!\u00a0 I DO NEED ATTENTION!\u201d<\/p>\n<\/a><\/p>\n<\/a><\/p>\n
