Silk. It is as if there is nothing but a sheer, delicate layer of silk between me and whatever is out there.\u00a0 I do not remember being more open in all of my life.\u00a0 This openness is touching me on different levels.\u00a0 I am walking around with a heightened sensitivity.\u00a0 It is touching all of my senses, my heart, my mind and spirit.<\/p>\n

The beauty of the world is even more striking than before. Fragrances are stronger.\u00a0 Sounds, too.\u00a0 I can very easily go into sensory overload, so I am careful about where I choose to go.<\/p>\n

My heart feels transparent. The depth of feelings seems infinite.\u00a0 I honestly did not know that I was capable of this level of feeling.\u00a0 Awestruck by beauty, but also feelings of anxiety, rage and sadness, profound sadness.\u00a0 And as the tears flow out, I have been able to let the love of others flow in.\u00a0 It is that love that is carrying me.\u00a0 Love from you, near and far is holding me now.\u00a0 I have been so open that I\u2019ve said, \u201cYes,\u201d to all offers of kindness.<\/p>\n

This is my state of being. This new awareness of my needs serves me well.\u00a0 I am able to be clear about what feeds me and what does not.\u00a0 It is an armor of silk, shielding my fragile being.<\/p>\n

Ah, and yes. The silk that I\u2019m wearing is also allowing me to feel Maya. \u00a0I sense her constantly. \u00a0Maya is most definitely with me.\u00a0 Always.<\/p>\n

In October 2014, when Maya and Ana were at the wedding of Sasha and Anders, they borrowed Connie\u2019s camera. Unbeknownst to Connie, they took a couple of hundred photos.\u00a0 Thank you Connie, for co-creating\u00a0this video.
