Dear Maya,<\/p>\n

It\u2019s been a couple of weeks of serious potty training. You\u2019ve only been wearing diapers at night and during the rest time at Lynnie\u2019s.\u00a0 As soon as you feel a pee or poop coming, we drop everything and make a mad dash for the nearest bowl.\u00a0 You\u2019ve been doing GREAT!\u00a0 Some funny incidents have happened during this process.<\/p>\n

For one, I\u2019ve suggested, \u201chold it in until we get to the potty.\u201d So you\u2019d put your hand on your vagina to hold your pee.\u00a0 I told you that instead of using your hand to hold it in, \u201cyou could use the muscles in your vagina and squeeze your pee in until we get to the potty.\u201d\u00a0 You then stood still and scrunched up all of the muscles in your sweet little face; squeezing your facial muscles.\u00a0 It was too sweet!<\/p>\n

Another time, after you peed, you were shaking your vagina. I guess you\u2019re familiar with seeing Adin shake his penis after a pee.\u00a0 (I then explained to you that peeing is different for boys and girls\u2026girls don\u2019t need to shake their vaginas.)<\/p>\n

You continue to check out your poop each time and relate to it in some way or another. \u201cIt\u2019s a bunny rabbit; it\u2019s a caterpillar!\u201d<\/p>\n

I had to teach you how to pee outside, as you\u2019d see daddy and Adin doing so. You now know to spread your legs a squat a bit.<\/p>\n

As I mentioned before, you are doing great.<\/p>\n
