Dear One,<\/p>\n

As the saying goes, \u201cpeople plan, God and babies laugh\u201d.\u00a0 Around two weeks ago we (Daddy) had the idea to try to feed you.\u00a0 Adin picked out a special organic sweet potato.\u00a0 It was baked and mashed.\u00a0 Adin fed you your first couple of bites.\u00a0 You had no interest.\u00a0 We tried again and again a few times.\u00a0 No interest.\u00a0 Daddy tried applesauce.\u00a0 Still no interest.\u00a0 It\u2019s just breast milk for you, young lady.\u00a0 Actually, I\u2019m quite delighted.\u00a0 You know what you want and need and I\u2019m happy to serve you. \u00a0The stress of having enough to meet your needs has not been an issue.\u00a0 You drink less during the day when I\u2019m not around.\u00a0 You make up for it through the night and I\u2019m fine with that.\u00a0 I love you so deeply; I am happy to connect with you in this way.<\/p>\n

You are quite vocal.\u00a0 You have your sweet sounds and your growling sounds.\u00a0 You\u2019ve been getting quite adept at reaching for things and handling them.\u00a0 You shake rattles and beat things rhythmically on surfaces like a drum.\u00a0 You began sitting around Valentine\u2019s Day.\u00a0 You have rolled over, just a couple of times.\u00a0 I\u2019m glad about this because I know that when I put you down, you\u2019ll basically stay put.<\/p>\n

You made a new friend this month.\u00a0 Tuli was adopted by my friend Ellen.\u00a0 She was born in Viet Nam, a beautiful country far away.\u00a0 We welcome her into our community.<\/p>\n

Adin has been adoring you.\u00a0 He can\u2019t keep his hands off of you.\u00a0 He loves to hold and hug you.\u00a0 He even carries you, if he can get away with it.\u00a0 Every now and then, if he\u2019s angry with me, he\u2019ll go over and step on your hand.\u00a0 He doesn\u2019t really hurt you.\u00a0 It\u2019s just his way\u2026\u00a0 You are so amused by him.\u00a0 You just watch him and glow.<\/p>\n

And yes, you are a glower.\u00a0 I sincerely hope this glow shines through your whole life long.<\/p>\n
